There is something sacred about getting real mail in a world of algorithms and AI. The Manna Mail Club is a small act of rebellion against the digital noise--a monthly bundle of real, human, handmade goodness, prepared personally and prayerfully by me. Each envelope will be stuffed with goodness and blessed with anointing oil. Hi, I'm TJ! A pastor who paints, a painter who preaches, but in reality just a quirky mama living in full-time chaos with a paintbrush and Bible always in tow. My vision for the Painted Word Studio is to create a community around questions, creation, and human connection. This is just the groundwork to bigger projects! An Original Art Print
Growing up I was always creating something. My love of art never left me and in the darkest moments of my life it carried me towards healing. I've learned through over a decade in ministry that God calls us into co-creation by way of our unique spiritual gifts to bring healing and hope into this beloved creation entrusted to us. Each month, you'll receive a custom limited print of an original piece--created by me, inspired by that month's theme. Turn it into a card, hang it up as a reminder, start a collection...whatever brings you joy! It is a visual reminder that you are a beloved child of God.
Daily Discipleship Calendar
Daily practices create habits that transform us, so each mailing will include a custom-designed monthly calendar with scripture readings, reflective journal prompts, spiritual practices, and other ideas to inspire you to put your faith into action by way of reflection, practice, or mission. Consider it a road map to draw closer to God as you feel inspired, not a to-do list in an already busy life.
A Recipe Card and Prayer
I believe strongly in the power of prayer and the love we put into the food we make. One shared spiritual practice I have with my family is we always have dinner together and we always say a blessing over our meal. Words have power to transform those daily moments and to feed not just our bodies but our souls too. I hope to bring this blessing to your table as well. In your Manna Mail Club envelope you will receive a prayer and recipe card. On one side, a prayer for your daily meals and on the other side is a family recipe from my home to yours!
Golden Feather Lottery
Who didn't love the golden ticket aspect of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory book/movie?! Every month, tucked into one lucky envelope at random will be a small surprise - a Golden Feather. If you find one nestled amongst your goodies, it is your invitation to a one-on-one virtual visit with me. (Details will be included on it). It can be whatever your heart needs that month--prayer, spiritual guidance, or simply a friendly meet and greet. Psalm 19:4 says, "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge." Consider this opportunity a little reminder that you are held and it is my prayer it lands in the mailbox of whoever needs it the most that month.
